her firstLouise Le Boutillier was born in Birmingham and grew up near the Welsh border, attending The Marches School in Oswestry. She studied Music at The University of York, graduating with a 2.1 in 2002. Following several years working outside of music, Louise decided to return to full time education and spent two years studying Singing at Trinity College of Music. She was awarded MMus in Vocal Performance in 2008. Since graduating, Louise has sung professionally with ensembles such as The Monteverdi Choir, Grange Park Opera, Opera Holland Park and The Academy of Ancient Music, as well as performing Oratorio solos with numerous choirs and choral societies and giving solo recitals of Lieder and Chanson.

Louise was offered her first peripatetic job in 2007, teaching singing at Parkgate House School in Clapham, where she remained for three and a half years. In London she also taught for a year (maternity cover) at Thomas's Kensington. She started a family with her husband Richard in 2011 and moved to West Sussex in 2012. While in Sussex she taught at St Christopher's Hove, Ashdown House and Sompting Abbotts schools.

Based in Shropshire since December 2015, her first local teaching job was at Shrewsbury High Prep School where she remained for 3 years. Louise now specialises in teaching secondary age pupils and gives lessons at Wrekin College, The Corbet Technology College and Adcote School for girls. She will be starting a role as Pop Vocals Coach at Concord College from September 2019. 

She is a regular member of the professional choir of The Birmingham Oratory Church, as well as being soloist for Wrekin College Choral Society.
